The Crafty Cabin
A creative collaboration between two female geotechnical engineers
Liesl and I first met while working together in a summer engineering internship in 2016. We quickly learned we have a lot in common - from geotech, to SCUBA diving together in Lake Simcoe, and 5 years later reconnecting over our art!
Liesl is so creative, and I am so excited to be collaborating with her on this collection.

SCRUNCHIES & SEEDS FOR A CAUSE
The Crafty Cabin is committed to giving back to causes close to our heart.
Each month, we will feature a 'scrunchie for a cause', donating 100% of proceeds to the chosen charity.

This month we will be supporting The Multiple Sclerosis Society. MS is an illness very close to my heart as my paternal grandma had it.
My grandma was so full of life. You name the activity and she was up for it. In fact, it was her who instilled my passion for creativity and craftiness from a young age. My memories with her are of days filled with crafting, baking, gardening and creating. Heartbreakingly, she was diagnosed with progressive MS when she was 57 and suffered with it for 6 years, passing away from it in 2010.
I will be participating in the annual MS Walk-a-thon on May 31st. Click below to get your surprise scrunchie, flower seed packet, or donate to my fundraiser. Your support means so much to me!
